Pouvez-vous nous parler un peu de vous et de ce qui vous a inspiré à créer votre chaîne ?
Où est-ce que je commence? Ha! J'ai 30 ans, je suis marié à mon amie d'université et je profite de cette saison de maternité que je vis avec ma très impertinente fille de deux ans, Valentina, mieux connue sous le nom de « Teeny » du public. J'ai lancé ma chaîne environ un an après avoir lancé mon blog style et beauté ( www.sazan.me ). J'ai toujours aimé entrer en contact avec les gens et j'ai eu une passion pour la vidéo et le cinéma. J'ai étudié et obtenu un diplôme en radio, télévision et cinéma à l'Université de North Texas. J'ai donc trouvé qu'Internet était un lieu ouvert et libre dans lequel mettre ma créativité et mon contenu. Après avoir développé mon blog, j'ai senti que j'avais besoin d'un autre débouché pour me connecter complètement avec mon public. Soudain, j'ai trouvé un espace où je pouvais partager davantage de mes talents, des conseils de style aux tutoriels de beauté. En grandissant là-bas, j'ai commencé à remarquer que mon public voulait plus de vidéos de moi partageant simplement ma vie et étant simplement réel. Parler de la vie et de ce qui se passe dans mon monde a toujours été mon style de contenu préféré. Il est plus facile de partager mon #MomProbs actuel que de faire un tutoriel smokey eye parfaitement parfait. ;) Ma chaîne était vraiment (et sera toujours) un espace spécial pour moi car c'était la première plateforme sur laquelle je montrais mes moments les plus vulnérables de la vie. C'est un espace intime où je peux me connecter avec de vraies femmes et cela me passionne énormément.
A quoi ressemble votre journée type ?
6h30 - réveillez-vous et profitez d'un moment de calme (une heure avant ma fille)
Quelque temps avant 11 heures du matin - je croise les doigts pour que je fasse mon entraînement et que je l'écrase pour la journée !
De midi à 17 heures, ce sont mes heures de concentration aux heures de grande écoute. Je considère cela comme mes horaires de travail « ne pas déranger ». Un moment dédié où je peux me concentrer sur les tâches prioritaires/délais, les objectifs, la recherche, le classement, l'édition, les réunions et la liste est longue !
17h00 - Je désactive le mode travail et j'active le mode horaire FAMILLE. Avant, j'avais vraiment du mal à l'éteindre (surtout lorsque vous travaillez dans une industrie numérique 24 heures sur 24), mais j'ai réalisé que si quelque chose me coûtait ma tranquillité, alors c'était trop cher. Ça n'en vaut pas la peine ! 17h, nous fermons nos ordinateurs portables et passons ce temps en famille. Fixer des limites saines entre le travail et la vie privée est une chose à laquelle nous accordons toujours la priorité.
En 2011, lorsque je voulais créer mon propre blog et ma présence en ligne, j'ai souvent entendu ceci : « Ne le faites pas, il n'y a pas d'argent et vous perdrez votre temps. » 90 % des personnes à qui j’ai dit que j’allais poursuivre mes propres rêves numériques me l’ont dit. Disons simplement que près d'une décennie plus tard, je suis TELLEMENT content de ne pas avoir écouté ces voix ! :)
Qu'est ce que le succès signifie pour vous?
Pour moi, le vrai succès consiste à écouter les instincts que Dieu vous donne à chaque étape du processus. L'itinéraire qui n'est pas toujours emprunté peut être effrayant et risqué, mais trouvez du réconfort dans le confort. Le repos est un élément essentiel du succès. Il n’est pas toujours nécessaire d’être en mode activité pour réussir. Soyez authentique par rapport à qui vous êtes et à tout ce que Dieu vous a fait être. Cela vous guidera sur la véritable voie de votre objectif et le succès suivra.
Dans les moments de doute ou d’adversité, comment se reconstruire ?
La vérité est que j'ai passé trop de saisons de ma vie à penser que j'avais le pouvoir de traverser les moments difficiles, mais la vérité est que je n'arrêtais pas de tomber. J'ai réalisé que je devais brancher ma vie sur la source d'énergie ultime, une source qui ne s'éteint jamais et ne doit jamais être rechargée. Ce pouvoir est ma foi en Dieu. La Bible est devenue mon épée et mon bouclier. Remplir mon esprit de ce que Dieu dit de moi par rapport à ce que les autres disent de moi ou même de ce que je dis de moi-même - HOMME. C'EST LE POUVOIR. Le diable n'est pas notre ami et il utilisera vos propres émotions pour attiser le drame et la distraction, mais nous n'avons pas besoin de lui donner un pied. Nous n'avons pas besoin d'agir par peur ou par doute, mais nous pouvons trouver le repos en sachant que nous n'avons pas à nous reconstruire seuls. Nous ne sommes pas équipés pour tout comprendre (et MERCI à DIEU pour ça ! mdr !). Se rendre n’est pas un signe de faiblesse mais un signe de véritable force. La recherche d’un pouvoir supérieur au-delà de soi est nécessaire à mesure que vous devenez la personne pour laquelle vous êtes fait !
Avez-vous des routines matinales ou des rituels du soir pour vous aider à rester équilibré ?
Mon temps de gym ! S’il y a une chose dont j’ai BESOIN chaque jour, c’est d’une séance d’entraînement. Je suis cette fille folle qui offrira à mon enfant un laissez-passer gratuit pour aller à la salle de sport avant de recevoir un massage, une pédicure, un verre de vin... J'aime tellement m'entraîner et cela n'a rien à voir avec les résultats physiques. J'éprouve de la joie à m'entraîner depuis plus de deux ans et je peux vous dire que c'est ce qui maintient mon esprit, ma créativité et mon niveau d'énergie si équilibrés. Je l'aime :)
